Bengaluru – To accommodate the surge in passenger numbers during the Deepavali Festival, Deepavali special trains service have been announced by South Western Railway (SWR) between Hubballi-Bidar and Bidar-Yesvantpur. These additional services aim to facilitate travel and provide a convenient option for festival goers. Here’s what you need to know:
Train Routes and Schedule
- SSS Hubballi – Bidar Special Express
- This special express train, numbered 06505, will follow a route via Yesvantpur and Kalaburagi.
- Departing from SSS Hubballi at 14:30 hrs on 10th of November 2023 (Friday), it will arrive at Bidar at 12:15 hrs on the next day (Saturday).
- Bidar-Yesvantpur Special Express
- This special express train, numbered 06506, will follow a route via Kalaburagi and Raichuru.
- Departing from Bidar at 14:30 hrs on 14th of November 2023 (Tuesday), it will reach Yesvantpur at 04:00 hrs on the next day (Wednesday).

Stops Along the Way
Both special trains will make stoppages at various selected stations listed below in both directions, including Haveri, Davangere, Arsikere, Tumakuru, Yesvantpur, Yelahanka, Gauribidanuru, Hindupur, Dharmavaram, Anantpur, Guntkal, Mantralayam Road, Raichuru, Yadgir, Shahabad, Kalaburagi, Kamalapur and Humnabad.
