Partial Cancellation of Key Train Services Between Vijayapura and Bagalkot

Engineering Work at Kudgi Yard

Ongoing engineering work is taking place at Kudgi Yard in the Hubballi division of SWR Zone. Several train services will be affected between September 28 and October 2, 2024. The construction involves the commissioning of Road 5 and 6, leading to partial cancellations and regulations of certain trains.

Partial Cancellation of Trains

The following trains will be partially cancelled during the specified period:

1. SSS Hubballi-Vijayapura Passenger Special (Train No. 06919)
   • Journey from September 29 to October 2, 2024, will be partially cancelled between Bagalkot and Vijayapura stations. The train will terminate early at Bagalkot.
2. Vijayapura-SSS Hubballi Passenger Special (Train No. 06920)
   • Journey from September 29 to October 2, 2024, will start from Bagalkot instead of Vijayapura. It will be partially cancelled between Vijayapura and Bagalkot.
3. Mangaluru Central-Vijayapura Express Special (Train No. 07378)
   • Journey from September 28 to October 1, 2024, will be partially cancelled between Bagalkot and Vijayapura stations. The train will terminate early at Bagalkot.
4. Vijayapura-Mangaluru Central Express Special (Train No. 07377)
   • Journey from September 29 to October 2, 2024, will originate from Bagalkot instead of Vijayapura. It will be partially cancelled between Vijayapura and Bagalkot.
5. Mysuru-Bagalkot Basava Express (Train No. 17307)
   • Journey from September 28 to October 1, 2024, will be partially cancelled between Vijayapura and Bagalkot stations. The train will terminate early at Vijayapura.
6. Bagalkot-Mysuru Basava Express (Train No. 17308)
   • Journey from September 29 to October 2, 2024, will start from Vijayapura instead of Bagalkot. It will be partially cancelled between Bagalkot and Vijayapura.
7. Yesvantpur-Vijayapura Express Special (Train No. 06545)
   • The journey from September 28 to October 1, 2024, will be partially cancelled between Gadag and Vijayapura stations. The train will terminate early at Gadag.
8. Vijayapura-Yesvantpur Express Special (Train No. 06546)
   • Journey from September 29 to October 2, 2024, will start from Gadag instead of Vijayapura. There will be a partial cancellation between Vijayapura and Gadag.

Regulation of Train Services

One train will be regulated due to the engineering work:

• Solapura-Hosapete Express (Train No. 11305)
  • The journey on October 2, 2024, will be delayed by 45 minutes en route.

Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and check train schedules before travel. These temporary changes are necessary to ensure the successful completion of the engineering work at Kudgi Yard.
