MUMBAI – Christie is poised to enhance the cinema experience at the upcoming Big Cine Expo 2024. The event is set to take place at the Bombay Exhibition Center (NESCO) from September 30 to October 1.
As the event’s official technology partner for the seventh consecutive year, Christie will showcase innovative cinema technologies. These technologies aim to boost audience engagement. They also optimize box-office performance for cinema chains and theater owners.

Attendees can look forward to the India debut of Christie’s new CineLife+ RBe projectors, featuring Phazer illumination technology. These state-of-the-art projectors promise advanced capabilities and exceptional image quality, specifically designed for small, high-gain screen cinemas.

The convention will feature two Christie CP4435-RGB pure laser projectors in the screening theatre, delivering brilliant, true-to-life imagery. Attendees can also explore static displays of the CP4435-RGB and CP2420-RGB pure laser cinema projectors at Christie’s booth (#209).
These models are equipped with ultra-fast Series 4 processing electronics. They also have Christie’s Real|Laser illumination technology. This combination ensures impressive energy efficiency and significant cost savings.
High-Performance Options for Diverse Needs
Delegates will have the opportunity to see the CP2406-RBe. It is a 2K-resolution, 6,000-lumen projector equipped with Christie’s new CineLife+ 2K electronics platform. This high-value model is ideal for boutique cinemas and smaller displays. It promises exceptional image performance. It will be showcased in both static and live formats at the booth.
Thought Leadership in Action
Christie will also participate in a speaking engagement titled “Cost Effective High Dynamic Range Projection using Standardized Content.” This session, delivered by Kanwal Brar, director of sales for India, will highlight Christie’s technological and thought leadership. The 30-minute presentation is scheduled for Monday, September 30, at 11:45 a.m. in the convention’s screening theatre.
