Railways Adjusts Timings for Kacheguda-Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express

Revised Timings Effective December 21, 2023

In a positive development for travelers between Hyderabad and Bengaluru, the Indian Railways has modified the schedule of the Kacheguda-Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express. The new timings will be in effect from December 21, 2023.

Departure from Kacheguda

The departure time for Train No. 20703, Kacheguda – Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express, originally set at 05:30 hrs, has been adjusted to 05:45 hrs.

Arrival at Kacheguda

Similarly, the arrival time for Train No. 20704, Yesvantpur – Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express, originally scheduled for 23:20 hrs, will now be 23:00 hrs.

Inaugural and Regular Services

The Vande Bharat Express, inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister via video conference on September 24, 2023, commenced its regular service from September 25, 2023, linking the capitals of Telangana and Karnataka.

Route and Stoppage Facilities

The train, operating between Kacheguda in Hyderabad and Yesvantpur in Bengaluru, provides stoppage facilities at Mahabubnagar, Kurnool Town, Anantapur, and Dharmavaram, offering passengers flexibility in travel.

Coach Composition and Days of Service

Comprising 8 coaches (7 AC Chair Car coaches & 1 Executive Chair Car coach) with a carrying capacity of 530 passengers, the Vande Bharat Express operates six days a week, excluding Wednesdays.

Fare Details

Passengers can obtain detailed fare information from the IRCTC website and reservation counters. Catering charges are optional and can be selected during ticket booking. The fares from the starting station to the destination station are as follows:

• Kacheguda to Yesvantpur:
  • AC Chair Car (with catering): Rs 1600
  • Executive Class (with catering): Rs 2915
  • AC Chair Car (without catering): Rs 1255
  • Executive Class (without catering): Rs 2515
• Yesvantpur to Kacheguda:
  • AC Chair Car (with catering): Rs 1540
  • Executive Class (with catering): Rs 2865
  • AC Chair Car (without catering): Rs 1255
