SGS Inaugurates Cutting-Edge Toy Testing Lab in Bengaluru

SGS, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification, is thrilled to announce the opening of a cutting-edge toy testing laboratory in Bengaluru, Karnataka, South India. This facility, approved by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), is now fully operational, catering to the burgeoning toy manufacturing industry in southern India.

NABL-Approved Lab for Local and International Testing

The laboratory, strategically located within SGS’s established Softlines and Electrical & Electronics (E&E) sites in Bengaluru, has received accreditation from NABL. This enables it to offer a comprehensive range of local and international testing services to clients within the region.

Complementing Existing Facilities

This new facility complements the company’s existing toy testing lab in Manesar, Gurgaon, North India, both laboratories boast NABL accreditation and cover standards such as ASTM F963 (USA), ISO 8124 (international markets), EN 71 (Europe), and IS 9873 (India).
