Mysuru Bengaluru Dasara special trains

To manage the increased passenger demand during the Dasara, the South Western Railway (SWR) will run two pair special train on demand trains between Mysuru and Bengaluru, as outlined below:

06279/06280 Mysuru – Bengaluru – Mysuru train on demand unreserved Dasara Special trains

Train No. 06279 Mysuru – KSR Bengaluru train on demand unreserved train will depart from Mysuru at 23:15 hours on 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th October 2023 and arrive at KSR Bengaluru  at 02:30 hours on the next day (5 Services).

In the return direction, Train No. 06280 KSR Bengaluru – Mysuru train on demand unreserved Special will depart from KSR Bengaluru at 03:00 hours on 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, and 25th October 2023 and arrive at Mysuru at 06:15 hours on the same day (5 Services).

Coach Composition:  

The train will have a coach composition consisting of Eighteen II Class Day Coaches, One Air Conditioned Chair Car Coach, Two Guard van-cum-luggage van-cum general compartment

06597/06598 Bengaluru – Mysuru – Bengaluru train on demand  DEMU Dasara Special trains

Train No. 06587 KSR Bengaluru – Mysuru train on demand DEMU Special will depart from KSR Bengaluru at 12:15 hours on 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th October 2023 and arrive at Mysuru  at 15:30 hours on the same day (5 Services).

In the return direction, Train No. 06598 Mysuru – KSR Bengaluru train on demand DEMU Special will depart from Mysuru at 15:45 hours on 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th October 2023 and arrive at KSR Bengaluru at 19:20 hours on the same day (5 Services).

The DEMU train Consists of Eight Cars.
