In a recent announcement, South Western Railway has decided to extend the temporary one-minute stoppage of Train No. 56927/56928 SSS Hubballi–Sindhanur–SSS Hubballi Daily Passenger at Halligudi Halt Station. This experimental stoppage will continue for three months, starting from 1st March 2025 to 31st May 2025.
Train No. 56927, the SSS Hubballi–Sindhanur Daily Passenger, will arrive at Halligudi at 10:29 a.m. and depart at 10:30 a.m. Similarly, Train No. 56928, the Sindhanur–SSS Hubballi Passenger, will arrive at Halligudi at 5:03 p.m. and depart at 5:04 p.m. Passengers are encouraged to take advantage of this temporary facility during the experimental period.

This SWR decision aims to improve connectivity and convenience for travelers in the region. The railway authorities will assess the impact of this stoppage before making any permanent changes.
