The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, is expected to launch the Bengaluru Hyderabad Vande Bharat Express on September 24, 2023, followed by its regular service.
This train will cater to the travel needs of commuters between the tech cities of Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
The proposed Yesvantpur Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express to be the third Vande Bharat express in the Sate followed by Mysuru-Chennai Vande Bharat and Hubballi-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express.

Bengaluru- Hyderabad Vande Bharat Express Snapshot
- Bengaluru-Hyderabad Vande Bharat Express will be operated by the South Central Railway (SCR).
- The train will travel via Kurnool station and Dhone Junction.
- The train is expected to cover a distance of 609.81 KM in around 8:30 hours. The average speed of the train is expected to be about 71.74 KMPH.
- The train will run 6 days a week except on Wednesday.
According to the proposed schedule, the train is set to depart from the Hyderabad area in the morning at 05:30, and arrive in Yesvantpur, Bengaluru in the afternoon at 14:00.
In the return journey the train will depart from Yesvantpur, Bengaluru in the afternoon at 14:45 and reach Kacheguda by 23:15. This would be the fastest train connecting the two metro cities. Both the general public and business travelers will find it attractive.
