In response to the growing demand and to accommodate the extra rush of passengers, the Western Railway has announced the introduction of special trains on the Ahmedabad – Tiruchirappalli route.
Train No. 09419 – Ahmedabad to Tiruchirappalli
The Ahmedabad – Tiruchirappalli Weekly Special Fare Special, with Train No. 09419, is set to depart from Ahmedabad at 09:30 hrs on the following Thursdays: 28th December 2023, 4th January 2024, 11th January 2024, 18th January 2024, and 25th January 2024. The train will reach Tiruchchirappalli at 03:45 hrs on the third day, providing a total of 5 services.

Train No. 09420 – Tiruchirappalli to Ahmedabad
In return, the Tiruchchirappalli – Ahmedabad Weekly Special Fare Special, operating as Train No. 09420, is scheduled to leave Tiruchchirappalli at 05:40 hrs on the following Sundays: 31st December 2023, 7th January 2024, 14th January 2024, 21st January 2024, and 28th January 2024. The train will arrive in Ahmedabad at 21:15 hrs on the third day, offering a total of 5 services.
Coach Composition
The Weekly Special Trains will consist of a diverse coach composition, including 1 AC Two Tier Coach, 3 AC Three Tier Coaches, 12 Sleeper Class Coaches, 4 General Second Class Coaches, and 2 Second Class Coaches (Divyangjan Friendly).
