In anticipation of the festive season and increased travel demand during Pongal, the Southern Railways have announced special Vande Bharat Festival services between Chennai Egmore and Nagercoil.
Weekly Specials for Festival Rush
To accommodate the extra rush of passengers during the Festival Season, the Southern Railways will operate Vande Bharat Festival Specials every Thursday in the Chennai Egmore – Nagercoil – Chennai Egmore sector.

Schedule for Vande Bharat Specials
- Train No. 06067 (Chennai Egmore to Nagercoil): The Vande Bharat Special Fare Special will depart from Chennai Egmore at 05.15 hrs on January 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th, 2024 (Thursdays). It is scheduled to reach Nagercoil at 14.10 hrs on the same day, providing a total of four services.
- Train No. 06068 (Nagercoil to Chennai Egmore): The return journey will see the Vande Bharat Special Fare Special depart from Nagercoil at 14.50 hrs on January 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th, 2024 (Thursdays). It is expected to reach Chennai Egmore at 23.45 hrs on the same day, completing four services.
