As part of the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, the Indian Railways is actively implementing a series of measures to enhance passenger experiences at stations nationwide. In alignment with this initiative, the Mysuru railway division is currently upgrading facilities across stations within its jurisdiction.
The Divisional Railway Manager Electrical has planned to install 14 sets (28 units) of escalators across various stations in the Mysuru Division. In this regard, DRM Electrical has invited a tender. The total estimated cost of the works is Rs.15,33,16,828/. The stipulated completion period for the project is set at 120 days.

Scope of Work
The project encompasses the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of passenger escalators at various stations within the MYS Division. The work will be in accordance with the Research Designs & Standards Organisation’s (RDSO) specifications or the latest standards.

- CMGR- Chikkmagaluru
- ASK – Arsikere
- SBHR – Subramanya Road

- CMNR – Chamarajanagar
- SKLR – Sakaleshpur
- TLGP – Talaguppa
- BNTL – Bantwal
- HRR – Harihara
- RNR – Ranibennur
This initiative falls under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and is targeted for implementation over the Mysuru Railway Division, SWR. This initiative is a significant step toward enhancing passenger convenience and aligns with the ongoing efforts to modernise railway facilities across the Mysuru Railway Division.
