For the convenience of passengers between Bengaluru and Kalaburagi, the Indian Railways has introduced a new 2 trips Train-on-demand service. This move comes as a relief to travelers who frequently commute between these two cities. The service is set to run on specific dates to cater to the increased traffic, ensuring smoother journeys for the passengers.
The train number 06201 SMVT Bengaluru – Kalaburagi Train-on-demand Special, will start its journey on the 11th and 14th of August 2023. Departing from SMVT Bengaluru at 22:25 hours, the train will arrive at Kalaburagi the following day at 09:00 hours.
Conversely, the 06202 Kalaburagi – SMVT Bengaluru Train-on-demand Special train service will operate on the 12th and 15th of August 2023. Departing from Kalaburagi at 10:00 hours, this train will reach SMVT Bengaluru at 21:15 hours on the same day.
The train will make stops at various stations along the route. These include Yelahanka, Hindupur, Dharmavaram, Ananthpur, Guntakal, Mantralayam, Raichur, and Wadi.
These trains will have a total of 14 coaches consisting of One AC 2 tier, One AC 3 tier, Eight Sleeper Class, One General Second Class, One Second Class Seating Chair Car and Two General Second Class Lagguge cum Brake Vans with disabled friendly compartments.
The Indian Railways has opened bookings on the IRCTC website. This online platform enables passengers to easily plan their journeys and make reservations
