In a momentous development, the long-anticipated Vande Bharat Express linking Mangaluru and Madagon is set to commence its regular operations from December 31, 2023. The initiation of bookings has already begun, heralding a new era in rail connectivity.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a groundbreaking move, will inaugurate train service via a video conference on December 30, 2023. The event will mark a significant milestone in the realization of this crucial transportation link.

The new Vande Bharat service now links Mangaluru, a picturesque coastal city in Karnataka, to Madgaon, the bustling commercial hub of Goa.

Six Days a Week Operation

To meet the diverse travel needs of commuters, the Vande Bharat Express will operate six days a week, excluding Thursdays. This frequency aims to boost accessibility and connectivity between Mangaluru and Madagon, making travel more convenient for passengers.
