South Western Railways (SWR) has notified the extension of the services of 16535/36 Mysuru Solapur Mysuru Golgumbaz express to Pandharpur with effect from 4th September 2023 from Mysuru end and 5th September 2023 from Pandharpur end.
Earlier, on 14th August 2023, the Railway Board had granted approval for the extension of the 16535/36 Golgumbaz Express to Pandharpur.

Significance of the Pandharpur Holy Town
Pandharpur, also known as the Southern Kashi of India and the Kuldaivat of Maharashtra State, holds immense religious significance. Located 72 kms by road from Solapur District headquarters, it’s home to the revered temple of Shri.Vitthal, which dates back to 1195 A.D.
