As per sources, The inaugural event for the Hosapete Mumbai Express at Hosapete is tentatively planned for August 29, 2023.
The Railway Board approved the extension of the 11139/11140 CSMT (Mumbai) – GADAG Express (Daily) to Hosapete on August 1, 2023.
This train will provide a connection between the UNESCO heritage site Hampi and the major economic and transit hubs. Namely Pune and Mumbai in India.
Tentetive Schedule of the Hosapete Mumbai Express Extension
The train is expected to depart from Vijayapura/BJP at 6:55 AM and is expected to arrive at Hosapete at 12:45 PM on the same day (Train No. 11139).
For the return journey, the train is expected to leave Hosapete at 2:00 PM and reach Vijayapura at 6:25 PM (Train No. 11140).
Notably, the train will now make stops at Bagalkot, Badami, Gadag, Koppal, and Munirabad in the Karnataka portion of its route.
