East Central Railway Extends Service of 10 Special Trains

Effort to Accommodate Passenger Demand

East Central Railway (ECR) has announced the extension of ten special trains service operating between Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT) Bengaluru and Danapur stations.

This decision aims to address the increased demand for transportation services, known as trains on demand. The extension entails maintaining the current routes, stoppages, and schedules.

Continued Service Details

  1. Danapur-SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express Special (Train No. 03245): Extended until April 24, 2024.
  2. SMVT Bengaluru-Danapur Weekly Express Special (Train No. 03246): Continues operation until April 26, 2024.
  3. Danapur-SMVT Bengaluru Bi-weekly Express Special (Train No. 03251): Service extended until April 29, 2024.
  4. SMVT Bengaluru-Danapur Bi-weekly Express Special (Train No. 03252): Operational until May 1, 2024.
  5. Danapur-SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express Special (Train No. 03259): Extended until April 30, 2024.
  6. SMVT Bengaluru-Danapur Weekly Express Special (Train No. 03260): Service continuation until May 2, 2024.
  7. Danapur-SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express Special (Train No. 03247): Extended until April 25, 2024.
  8. SMVT Bengaluru-Danapur Weekly Express Special (Train No. 03248): Continuing until April 27, 2024.
  9. Danapur-SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express Special (Train No. 03241): Service from Danapur extended until April 26, 2024.
  10. SMVT Bengaluru-Danapur Weekly Express Special (Train No. 03242): Operates until April 28, 2024.
