In a significant milestone for Agra, the city inaugurated its metro service with the commencement of the first run of world-class trains manufactured by Alstom earlier this month. These cutting-edge Movia metros mark a new era in transportation for the historic city.

These Movia metro trains come equipped with advanced Cityflo 650 signalling technology, ensuring the safety, reliability, and sustainability of the metro service. The inauguration witnessed the first train flagged off by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri. Narendra Modi, and the Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri. Yogi Adityanath.
