Temporary Train Stops Extended at Ramagiri, Birur, and Alur Stations

Train services to benefit from extra stops until December 2024

South Western Railway (SWR) has announced an extension of temporary stoppages at Ramagiri, Birur, and Alur stations for several trains. These brief one-minute stops will continue for the convenience of passengers through the end of 2024.

Ramagiri Station Stoppages

Passengers traveling on Train Nos. 17325/17326 (Belagavi-Mysuru-Belagavi Vishwamanav Daily Express) and Train Nos. 17391/17392 (KSR Bengaluru-SSS Hubballi-KSR Bengaluru Daily Express) will see the temporary stoppage at Ramagiri station extended until December 31, 2024. The existing schedule for these stops will remain unchanged.

Birur Station Stoppages

Similarly, Train Nos. 16587/16588 (Yesvantpur-Bikaner-Yesvantpur Bi-weekly Express) will continue to stop for one minute at Birur station until December 31, 2024. The timings for these brief stops will also stay the same.

Alur Station Stoppages

For those using the Yesvantpur-Karwar-Yesvantpur Tri-weekly Express (Train Nos. 16515/16516), the Yesvantpur-Mangaluru Junction-Yesvantpur Gomteshwara Tri-weekly Express (Train Nos. 16575/16576), and the Yesvantpur-Mangaluru Junction-Yesvantpur Weekly Express (Train Nos. 16539/16540), the one-minute stop at Alur station will be extended until November 30, 2024, maintaining the current schedule.
