The latest update is that the Bhoomi pooja, marking the beginning of the construction works. The groundbreaking ceremony was performed by Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on 27-08-2023.
Tecchren Batteries commences work
Tecchren Batteries Private Limited has initiated construction on its new manufacturing unit in Chamarajanagar with a groundbreaking ceremony. The company is set to introduce distinctive batteries using a novel proprietary technology. These batteries, once manufactured, will be 100% recyclable, non-toxic, and powered by AI. Thereby making them suitable for both electric vehicles and home power via inverters.
Tecchren Batteries Investment and Job Creation
The overall cost of the project is Rs. 2000 Crores, and the first phase of investment with an estimation of Rs. 480 crores will see the light soon. It will create 200 direct jobs and many more indirect jobs. The project will come up on 40,000 square meters of land at the Badaganakuppe-Kellamballi Industrial Area. The production is set to commence within 12 months. By the time the company completes the Rs. 2000 crores of investment, the number of direct jobs at this manufacturing unit will rise to 1000.
