Maharashtra has inaugurated India’s first state-level Cyber Command and Control Center. This center aims to fight cyber crimes and protect citizens, businesses, and critical infrastructure. The center was developed in partnership with L&T Technology Services. It will use advanced technologies and tools. These will help the police and other agencies investigate cyber crimes more efficiently.
Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the state-of-the-art facility. It will serve as a hub for cyber crime investigations. The facility will support awareness programs and cybersecurity measures. The center will also use AI-driven threat intelligence to prevent attacks on critical infrastructure.
This project includes a network of 50 district-level cyber police stations. It also comprises a Technology Assisted Investigation center and a Security Operations Center. It aims to streamline complaint management for citizens and provide faster resolution of cyber crime cases.
