Festival Special Trains Connect Bengaluru to Barauni and Muzaffarpur

Southern Western Railways to run festival special trains to Barauni and Muzaffarpur from Bengaluru

Southern Western Railways (SWR) has announced the operation of festival special trains to accommodate the increased number of passengers during the festive season of 2023. Two special express trains, each on a one-time trip, will connect Bengaluru to Barauni and Muzaffarpur.

Train No. 06227/06228 Bengaluru to Barauni Special Express

  • Train No. 06227 will leave Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru on 15th November 2023 at 04:35 p.m. and scheduled to reach Barauni on 17th November 2023 at 12:45 p.m.
  • Return Journey, The train No. 06228 will depart from Barauni on 21st November 2023 at 1 p.m. and arrive in SMVT Bengaluru on 23rd November 2023 at 05:15 p.m.

Stoppages

  • The train will halt at various stations, including Krishnarajapuram, Whitefield, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Perambur, Gudur, Vijayawada, Warangal, Balharshah, Nagpur, and more.

Coach Composition

  • The train will consist of One AC Two-tier coach, Three AC Three-tier coaches, Eight Sleeper Class Coaches, Two General Second Class Coaches, and Two Second Class cum Luggage & Brake Van/Disabled coaches.

Train No. 06225/06226 Yesvantpur to Muzaffarpur Special Express

  • Train No. 06225 will depart from Yesvantpur on 16th November 2023 at 07:30 a.m. and scheduled to reach Muzaffarpur on 18th November 2023 at 12 p.m.
  • Return Journey, The train No. 06226 will depart from Muzaffarpur on 22nd November 2023 at 03:30 p.m. and arrive in Yesvantpur on 24th November 2023 at 7 p.m.

Stoppages

  • The train will make stoppages at Dharmavaram, Anantapur, Gooty, Dhone, Kurnool City, Gadwal, Mahabubnagar, Jadcharia, Shadnagar, Kacheguda, and several other stations.

Coach Composition

  • The train will have One AC Two-tier coach, Three AC Three-tier coaches, Twelve Sleeper Class Coaches, Four General Second Class Coaches, and Two Second Class cum Luggage & Brake Vans.
