To clear the festive season rush, Indian Railways is set to operate a one trip festival special train between Mysuru and Raxaul. These special trains aim to accommodate the additional passenger influx during festive season 2023.
- Train 06221: Departs from Mysuru at 17.00 hrs on Wednesday 15.11.2023 (1 trip), arriving at Raxaul at 23.50 hrs on Friday.
- Train 06222: Leaves Raxaul at 08.00 hrs on Monday 20.11.2023 (1 trip), reaching Mysuru at 21.40 hrs on Wednesday.
The trains will make stops at various key locations, including KSR Bengaluru, Bangarpete, Katpadi Jn, Perambur, Gudur Jn, Vijayawada Jn, Warangal, Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi Jn, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, DD Upadhyaya Jn, Buxar, Ara Jn, Patna Jn, Bakhtiyarpur Jn, Mokameh Jn, Barauni Jn, Samastipur Jn, Muzaffarpur Jn, and Sitamarhi.

Coach Composition for Festival Special Train
Comprising 22 ICF coaches, the festival special train includes One AC First Class (1A), Two AC 2 Tier (2A), Seven AC 3 Tier (3A), Eight Sleeper Class, Two General Second Class, and Two Guard’s Brake Van.
