Mumbai, January 31, 2024 – In a bid to enhance passenger comfort and safety, Central Railway (CR) has announced the conversion of the conventional ICF rakes of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus CSMT-Nagpur Sevagram Express into Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) rakes.
Upgrade Schedule
The upgrade will roll out in two phases, starting with the first rake of 12140 CSMT-Nagpur Sevagram Express commencing its journey with LHB coaches from Nagpur on May 25, 2024. Subsequently, the 12139 CSMT– Nagpur Sevagram Express will follow suit from May 26, 2024.
The second rake of 12140 CSMT-Nagpur Sevagram Express will debut with LHB coaches from Nagpur on May 26, 2024, followed by the 12139 CSMT– Nagpur Sevagram Express on May 27, 2024.

Enhanced Composition
The revamped composition will feature a total of 22 coaches, including Two AC-2 Tier, 12 AC-3 Tier Economy, 4 Sleeper Class, Three General Second Class coaches, along with Guard’s brake van and one Generator Van.
