New Delhi, January 15, 2024 – Boeing has officially opened its first India Distribution Center in Khurja, Uttar Pradesh, marking a significant expansion of Boeing’s presence in the country. The 36,000-square-foot parts warehouse is poised to enhance regional aviation by supporting customers in maximizing fleet utilization.
Commitment to Indian Aviation Growth
Boeing’s new distribution center underscores the company’s commitment to the Indian market and aligns with the Government’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision. The facility is strategically positioned to cater to the emergent needs of spare parts for Boeing aircraft in India, reducing lead times, improving availability, and supporting the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) industry in the region.

Efficient Global Distribution Network
Boeing continues to enhance customer service by expanding its global distribution network. The India Distribution Center is one of eight such centers worldwide, specifically designed to hold and ship spare parts for Boeing’s commercial customers.
William Ampofo, Vice President of Parts & Distribution Services and Supply Chain at Boeing Global Services, stated, “The India Distribution Center represents another significant step forward in Boeing’s strategy to provide parts and services when and where customers need them.”
Strategic Location and Collaboration
Positioned along India’s Eastern Freight Corridor, in proximity to Delhi and the upcoming Jewar airport, the distribution center reinforces Boeing’s commitment to supporting growth and self-reliance objectives in India. The facility, operated in collaboration with DB Schenker, prioritizes innovation, safety, and sustainability.

Boeing’s Ongoing Investments in India
The distribution center is Boeing’s latest development in India, following substantial investments and agreements aimed at bolstering the growth of the civil aviation industry. Initiatives include a partnership with GMR Aero Technic and the establishment of a Global Support Center. Boeing has also committed a $100 million investment in infrastructure and pilot training programs to meet India’s growing demand for pilots.
