Woodpecker Greenagri Nutrients Private Limited, a subsidiary of Som Distilleries and Breweries Limited, has announced plans to establish a state-of-the-art greenfield project in Khimsepur, Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh. The project, valued at approximately Rs. 600 crores, will include a brewery, distillery, and other manufacturing facilities.
The Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) has allocated a 40-acre land parcel for the project. Construction is set to begin soon, pending regulatory approvals from the Uttar Pradesh government.

Uttar Pradesh, known for its large consumer base, favorable demographics, and industry-friendly policies, is a strategic location for the company. This expansion is expected to strengthen Som Distilleries’ position as a pan-India player in the beverages and manufacturing sector.
