Tata Boeing Aerospace Limited (TBAL), a joint venture between Boeing and Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL), in the month of February 2025 has reached a significant milestone by delivering its 300th AH-64 Apache attack helicopter fuselage. Manufactured at its advanced facility in Hyderabad, these fuselages are supplied to global customers, including the U.S. Army and the Indian Army, which has six on order. The Indian Air Force also operates a fleet of 22 AH-64E Apache helicopters.
This achievement underscores TBAL’s commitment to enhancing India’s defence capabilities and promoting indigenous manufacturing. The Hyderabad facility, spanning 14,000 square meters, is the global sole source supplier for Apache fuselages. Over 90% of the parts used in these aerostructures are sourced from more than 100 Indian Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), showcasing the growth of India’s aerospace supply chain.
