The company’s flagship SUV, the new Safari, and the trendsetting premium SUV, the Harrier, have made history by securing the first-ever 5-star rating in both adult and child occupant protection categories from the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (Bharat-NCAP).

The Bharat-NCAP is India’s independent safety performance evaluation protocol, setting the benchmark for global standards. The Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari ji, commended Tata Motors for this achievement, emphasizing Bharat-NCAP as India’s atmanirbhar (self-reliant) voice on vehicle safety.
