New Delhi, 02 January’24: In a significant move towards fostering electric vehicle (EV) technology and charging infrastructure, Servotech Power Systems Ltd., a leading EV charger manufacturer in India, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Lloyd Institute of Engineering and Technology.
The collaboration aims to promote research, education, training, and innovation by establishing an exclusive research and development lab and a Centre of Excellence dedicated to EV charging technology and infrastructure.

Empowering Students Through Internships and Jobs
Servotech will offer internship and job opportunities to trainees from the Centre of Excellence, enhancing practical experience and industry exposure for students. This initiative not only strengthens the link between education and industry but also supports the growth of skilled professionals in the EV sector.
Charging Station at Lloyd’s Premises
As part of the collaboration, Servotech plans to set up and commission an EV charging station within Lloyd’s premises. The station will feature a 14 kW EV Charger, suitable for 2, 3 & 4 wheelers, and will provide free charging to students and faculty. The charging station will also extend its services to the general public and students from nearby institutes, fostering communal advantage and accelerating the widespread adoption of EVs.

R&D Centre for Innovation and Education
The R&D centre aims to foster innovation, create awareness, sensitize individuals, and upskill students according to industry needs. It will conduct training, organize seminars, and workshops to share knowledge and insights across various forums. This collaborative effort between Servotech and Lloyd Institute is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable mobility.
