PwC India has announced a strategic collaboration with Meta. This partnership aims to expand its open-source artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for enterprises and public services. The expansion will use Meta’s Llama models. This partnership aims to promote the adoption of Llama’s open-source platform. It enables PwC to develop innovative solutions powered by Generative AI (GenAI) on a global scale.
This move aligns with the Indian government’s recent IndiaAI Mission, which aims to strengthen the country’s AI ecosystem. PwC India Chairperson Sanjeev Krishan expressed excitement over the collaboration, emphasizing its potential to transform industries and drive innovation. “With Llama Models, we see a unique opportunity to democratise this technology and drive meaningful change at scale,” said Krishan.
Pwc and Meta have partnered to create an ecosystem of GenAI solutions. This utilizes Meta’s technical prowess and PwC’s domain expertise. Sandhya Devanathan, Vice President and Head of Meta India, highlighted the impact of AI on India’s digital economy. She stated, “GenAI solutions, including Llama, are poised to revolutionise India’s businesses. They are enhancing customer experiences and driving data-driven decision-making.”
PwC India and Meta also plan to offer advanced GenAI capabilities to their clients, combining consulting advisory with technological expertise. Vivek Belgavi, Partner & Leader at PwC India, stated that the collaboration is a step forward. It aims to unlock new avenues for efficiency and creativity in business operations.
This initiative builds on PwC India’s work at its GenAI Lab. The lab explores innovative solutions for both employees and clients. It aims to bring powerful and secure GenAI solutions to market.
