Onam special trains between Kochuveli and Bengaluru

Southern Railway has announced the operation of Weekly Onam special trains between Kochuveli and Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru to accommodate the increased passenger demand during the festive season. Here are the details of the special trains:

Train No. 06083: Kochuveli to Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Weekly Onam Special Express

• Departure: 06:05 PM from Kochuveli on Tuesdays (22nd August 2023, 29th August 2023, 5th September 2023)
• Arrival: 10:55 AM at Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru on the following day
• Enroute Stations: Kollam, Kayankulam, Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Chenganseri, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Pothanur, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Bangarapet, Krishnarajapuram

Train No. 06084: Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru to Kochuveli Weekly Onam Special Express

• Departure: 12:45 PM from Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru on Wednesdays (23rd August 2023, 30th August 2023, 6th September 2023)
• Arrival: 6:00 AM at Kochuveli on the next day
• Enroute Stations: Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Pothanur, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Chenganseri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara, Kayankulam, Kollam

Composition of the Special Train:

• 16 AC Three-tier Sleeper Garib Rath coaches
• 2 Second Class Sleeper coaches
• 2 Brake-Van, Luggage cum Generator Car

Fare: The fare for Onam special trains will be charged at 1.3 times the regular fare.
