Mumbai, Oct 16, 2024: Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won a significant order from the Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (UPMRCL) for the development of Agra Metro Phase 1, Line-2. The project is set to transform Agra’s urban mobility, connecting key areas across the city.
Project Scope and Details
The Agra Metro Line-2 will span 15.09 km, running from Agra Cantonment to Kalindi Vihar. L&T’s Heavy Civil Infrastructure division will handle the design and construction of the elevated viaduct and the 14 metro stations along the route. Additionally, the project includes a 2.61 km depot linking Sadar Bazar to PAC Depot.
The scope of work also covers station design, architectural finishes, as well as electrical and mechanical installations. L&T aims to complete the project within an ambitious 30-month deadline.
