Extra Coaches Added to Bhubaneswar and Bengaluru Trains for Festival Season

Eastern Coast Railway (ECR) has announced the temporary addition of extra coaches to several Bhubaneswar and Bengaluru trains. This is to help manage the increased number of passengers during the upcoming festival season. This move aims to provide more comfort and convenience for travelers.

From October 2 to 11, 2024, Train No. 18463, the Bhubaneswar-KSR Bengaluru Prashanthi Daily Express, will have an additional Sleeper Class coach. Similarly, Train No. 18464, running in the opposite direction from KSR Bengaluru to Bhubaneswar, will also have one more Sleeper Class coach. This will be applicable from October 3 to 12, 2024.

The Bhubaneswar-SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Superfast Express (Train No. 12845), departing from Bhubaneswar between October 6 and 17, 2024, will be equipped with an additional General Second Class coach. Likewise, Train No. 12846, traveling from SMVT Bengaluru to Bhubaneswar, will have an extra General Second Class coach. This will be from October 7 to 18, 2024.

These temporary additions will help ease the expected rush during the festival season, providing passengers with more options for travel.
