Dasara Special Train Between Belagavi and Bengaluru

South western railways to run Dasara special train between Belagavi and Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru

In light of the Dasara Festival, South Western Railway (SWR) has announced the operation of Dasara special train to accommodate the surge in passenger traffic between Belagavi and Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru.

Train No. 07307 Belagavi to Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Special Express

The special train no 07307, will commence its journey from Belagavi on October 24, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. and will arrive the destination, SMVT Bengaluru, at 6:55 a.m. the following day.

The train will make scheduled stops at various stations, including Londa, Alnavar, Dharwad, Hubballi, Haveri, Harihar, Davangere, Kadur, Arsikere, and Tumakuru.

Train No. 07308 Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru to Belagavi Special Express

For those returning from Bengaluru to Belagavi, the special train no 07308 will depart from SMVT Bengaluru on October 25, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. The journey will conclude in Belagavi at 4:30 a.m. the following day.

This train will also have scheduled halts at stations such as Tumakuru, Arsikere, Kadur, Davangere, Harihar, Haveri, Hubballi, Dharwad, Alnavar, and Londa.

Composition

The composition of coaches for these special trains includes

  • One AC First Class,
  • Two AC Two-tier,
  • Three AC Three-tier,
  • Ten Sleeper Class,
  • Two General Second Class, and
  • Two generator cars with luggage and brake vans.

These special trains have been introduced to accommodate the festive rush of passengers during the Dasara Festival.
