South western railways are executing several projects to augment the berthing capacity at the Mysuru end to meet the growing demands of connectivity and facilitate smoother operations to and from Mysuru Junction.
In this regard, the railway authorities have undertaken the upgradation works at Belagula railway station on the Mysuru-Hassan railway line which includes the establishment of two stabling lines, an additional platform, a new station building, and a new foot-over bridge, etc.
