Ashok Leyland’s First Electric Truck Delivery
Chennai, October 7, 2024 – Ashok Leyland is one of India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturers. The company has started delivering its AVTR 55T Electric vehicles to Billion Electric Mobility.
The company has also begun delivering its BOSS Electric vehicles. This company is part of Group BillionE. The first batch of electric trucks was officially handed over in a ceremony. This event marks a major step towards eco-friendly transportation in India.
Large Order from BillionE
BillionE has placed a significant order of 180 electric trucks. These include the AVTR 55T Electric Tractor and the BOSS Electric Truck. The vehicles were flagged off by key leaders from both companies, including Mr. Shenu Agarwal, MD & CEO of Ashok Leyland, and Mr. Kartikey Hariyani, Founder & CEO of BillionE.
