Optiemus Drones Reach 19,000 Feet at Umling La Pass

New Heights Achieved at Him Drone-A-Thon 2024 by Optiemus Unmanned Systems

Optiemus Unmanned Systems (OUS) has achieved a remarkable milestone at the Him Drone-A-Thon 2024. Their drones reached an altitude of 19,000 feet at the Umling La Pass.

This event was organized by the Indian Army. It showcased India’s most advanced unmanned drone systems. OUS demonstrated the impressive capabilities of their Vajra series drones.

The Vajra 65 and Vajra 100 drones were put to the test in one of the world’s most challenging environments. The drones successfully completed missions involving bomb drops and long-range surveillance, setting new standards for endurance and altitude. At Umling La, the world’s highest motorable pass, OUS drones reached heights beyond 19,000 feet. This achievement solidified their performance in extreme conditions.
