This achievement represents a significant enhancement of India’s defense capabilities against drone threats.
The Army Air Defence College, which is responsible for training India’s Air Defence Corps, placed an order for the Zen ADS HK 18 months ago. This decision was based on preliminary successful trials demonstrating the system’s accurate cueing of automatic gun platforms. Following rigorous testing and trials, Zen Technologies designed, developed, and delivered a system that not only met but surpassed expectations.
Building on its success with soft-kill anti-drone systems already deployed by the Indian Air Force, Zen Technologies introduced the Zen ADS HK to provide an additional layer of protection. This advanced system is fully compatible with existing legacy defense infrastructure and features a state-of-the-art Electro-Optical Tracking System (EOTS), which was designed and developed in-house. The EOTS includes a day camera, thermal camera, and a Laser Range Finder (LRF) for effective all-weather auto-tracking.
The Zen ADS HK system also boasts a meticulously designed software interface that integrates seamlessly with the L-70 Air Defence Gun, a staple of the Indian Army and numerous other military forces worldwide. Its versatility allows for integration with various cue-able automatic gun platforms, making it adaptable for wider deployment across different scenarios.
