Triton valves patents its unique pressure relief valve (PRV) designed for electric vehicle battery packs

The company announced in a statement that their invention, titled “Methods and Systems for Relieving Pressure in a Battery Pack Assembly,” has officially been granted Patent Number 437917 on July 8, 2023.

They enable effective ventilation and pressure release during thermal runaway scenarios.This, in turn, helps mitigate the risk of fire hazards. With this significant patent grant, Triton Valves aims to establish partnerships with prominent government bodies and public institutions to explore opportunities for integrating its patented PRV technology into electric vehicles.
