Developing Crossing line at Kavalande/KVE Halt Railway Station

Development of  Chamarajanagar Railway Station(CMNR)

Development of Stabling lines and Coach watering facilities at CMNR was highlighted considering the fact Mysuru- Kadakola- Chamarajnagara has attracted a lot of industrial investments in recent times, so the introduction of more trains will further catalyse the economic activities. Railways has adequate land at its disposal at CMNR for developing the above facilities.

Change in alignment on the Mysuru – Chamarajanagar section to operate trains at safe distance from Mysore Airport

As the MYS-CMNR railway line passes close to the airport runway, AAI has not accorded the NOC to install OHE.  So as a way forward, the MP suggested realigning the railway stretch at a safe operating distance from the airport boundary.

  1. Sir, Please provide all trains which will orignate from Ashokapuram (both the directions) at Chamarajpuram Station (both the directions) which will help the people of central parts of Mysore for which they need not proceed to Mysore Railway Station with luggage and big family for travelling.

  2. Khushalnagara Railway route can also be planned starting from Ashoka Puram – Rayanakere – Jayapura – HD Kote – hunsur – periyapatna – Khushalnagara.

This will bring more development towards HD Kote side also and helps 5 Taluks.

Already NH is planned in Madikeri route and railways also in same route will not benifit more people.
