Strategic Partnership Boosts Make In India Initiatives in Aerospace Sector
MBDA and AXISCADES have joined forces to establish a Centre of Excellence (COE) for Test Benches in Bangalore. Announced on 9th February 2025, this collaboration aims to strengthen MBDA’s Make In India initiatives. The COE will focus on designing and producing advanced test solutions for MBDA’s global needs, including MICA missiles and other platforms.
Located at AXISCADES’ new facility in Aerospace Park near Kempe Gowda International Airport, the COE spans 42,000 sq.ft. It features state-of-the-art labs, equipment, and skilled resources to handle multiple test bench projects simultaneously. This partnership builds on AXISCADES’ decade-long role as MBDA’s prime Indian Offset Partner, delivering high-quality test solutions since 2018.

Dr. S Ravinarayanan, Chairman of AXISCADES, highlighted the COE as a testament to their leadership in test solutions.
