Bengaluru, January 17, 2024: In a significant move, Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt Ltd (MASPL) has entered into a new contract with Airbus Aerostructures GmbH to manufacture and deliver metallic components for various Airbus commercial aircraft, including the popular A320 family.
The contract, signed in Bengaluru, will see MASPL supplying nearly 5000 varieties of metallic components to Airbus in Germany from its manufacturing base in India. This adds to MASPL’s ongoing efforts to directly deliver parts to Airbus in Toulouse, France.

Collaborative Growth and ‘Make In India’ Initiative
Vinod Sahay, President of Aerospace & Defence & CPO, Auto & Farm Sectors at Mahindra, expressed pride in the Mahindra Group’s relationship with Airbus. He emphasized that this new contract not only expands their partnership but also contributes to the ‘Make In India’ initiative of the Government of India. Recognized as a D2P “Challenger” for three years in the Sheet Metal domain and holding a level “A” in the Airbus Industrial Process Capability Assessment (IPCA+), MASPL has consistently demonstrated excellence. The company was honored as the “Best Performer” in the 2023 Airbus Supplier Quality Improvement Program (SQIP) awards.
