Infosys Foundation Partners with Ashoka University to Enhance Scientific Research

Bengaluru, India – May 10, 2024: Infosys Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Infosys, has teamed up with Ashoka University to bolster scientific research endeavors. This collaboration aims to elevate the Chemical Biology Lab at Ashoka University to a world-class standard. With a commitment of INR 27 crore, Infosys Foundation seeks to enrich educational and research opportunities for undergraduate students.

Enhancing Infrastructure

The partnership will see the transformation of the existing Chemical Biology Lab into an Advanced Chemical Biology Lab. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities such as Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray analysis (SEM-EDAX), and others, this lab will offer students hands-on experience with cutting-edge equipment. This upgrade is poised to elevate the standard of education and facilitate diverse scientific research projects.
