New Delhi, May 10, 2024: The Airports Authority of India (AAI), the nation’s primary airport operator and air navigation services provider, unveiled its Internship Program, named ‘Pradipti,’ on May 10, 2024, at the Indian Aviation Academy in New Delhi.

The event was graced by the presence of Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Chairman of AAI, along with Board Members and representatives from numerous educational institutions and AAI airports.

A Step Towards Practical Learning

The primary goal of the Pradipti internship program is to engage educational institutions near airports, enabling students to gain practical insights into Airport Infrastructure, Operations & Air Navigation Services, thus fostering a deeper interest in Civil Aviation among the youth. The program offers a tiered learning approach, providing students with opportunities ranging from brief visits to extensive internships.

Key Benefits and Insights

Dr. H. Srinivas, Member (Human Resources) at AAI, shed light on the internship program during his address, emphasizing the significant benefits it offers to participants. The initiative aims not only to acquaint students with airport operations but also to spark their passion for further exploration within the aviation industry.

Signing Agreements for Collaboration

AAI has prepared Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to be signed between educational institutions and AAI, streamlining the internship implementation process. To date, over 120 institutions across the country have signed MoUs with AAI, enabling their students pursuing Graduation/Post-Graduation/Professional degree courses to participate in the internship program.
