IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, has recently commenced direct flights between Mumbai and Ayodhya, starting from January 15, 2024. This move aims to enhance accessibility and facilitate smoother travel between India’s financial capital and the renowned temple town in Uttar Pradesh.
Connecting Major Cities to Ayodhya
IndiGo took the lead as the first airline to initiate flights from the newly inaugurated Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya on December 30, 2023. Following this, the airline has extended its regular commercial flights to connect Delhi and Ahmedabad to Ayodhya.
