South Western Railway has called tender to conduct the final location survey for the doubling of 23.01 kilometres Yelahanka-Devanahalli Rail line and the Quadrupling of 48.5 kilometres on Baiyyapanahalli-Hosuru Section.
Final Location Survey (FLS)
A final location survey is the first important step that is carried out during detailing of any railway project. It is in this survey where multidisciplinary investigations like topographical, geotechnical, hydrological etc. are taken up and the consolidated data is used to finalise route alignment, identify land usages and also develop a blueprint of geotechnical, structural, architectural, MEP and other designs all in conjunction with each other.

- Yelahanka-Devanahalli Doubling (23.01 km).
- Baiyyapanahalli-Hosuru Section Quadrupling (48.5 Km).
