Balaji Wafers to establish a Manufacturing Unit in Kangala Industrial Estate, Belagavi
Belagavi has always been the agro hub of Karnataka state apart from being a traditional manufacturing hub. The district boasts of 22 sugar factories and is adding many more. True to the industrious credentials of the people, the district has been attracting new investments recently.
Balaji wafers has shown interest to invest in the Kangala industrial area developed by KIADB. The industrial estate is turning out to be a magnet for big names, having garnered the Gold Plus float glass plant touted to be India’s biggest.
The Company has obtained clearance from Karnataka Government to establish a snacks manufacturing unit on 20 acres land with an investment of Rs. 251.25 Crores. The unit is expected to create 7500 direct jobs and an equal number of indirect jobs.
