Changes in Coach Composition Effective February 15, 2024
The Southern Railway (SR) has announced a revision in the composition of Bengaluru – Coimbatore and Bengaluru – Chennai Double Decker Express trains, bringing about alterations to enhance travel experiences for passengers. The modifications will come into effect from the 15th of February, 2024.
1. Dr MGR Chennai Central – KSR Bengaluru – Dr MGR Chennai Central Double Decker Express (Train No. 22625/22626)
The popular Double-Decker Express connecting Dr MGR Chennai Central and KSR Bengaluru will witness a change in its coach composition. Starting from the mentioned date, the revised setup will be operational, bringing a fresh arrangement for passengers traveling between these two major cities.

2. KSR Bengaluru – Coimbatore – KSR Bengaluru Uday Superfast Express (Train No. 22665/22666)
Similarly, the Uday Superfast Express running between KSR Bengaluru and Coimbatore will experience a shift in its coach arrangement. The alterations will take effect from the 15th of February, 2024, aiming to provide an improved travel experience for passengers on this route.

Revised Composition
The revised composition of both trains will include:
- 8 AC Double Decker Chair Cars
- 5 Non-AC Chair Cars
- 1 General Second Class (Divyangjan Friendly)
- 1 Luggage cum Brake Van
These changes aim to enhance comfort and accessibility, ensuring a more pleasant journey for passengers traveling on these Express trains.
