Paraatparaa coffee to invest Rs. 237 Crores to build an Instant coffee manufacturing unit at Mysuru

Southern Cargo private limited (SCPL), a well established decades old Bangaluru based cargo carrier is one of the leading Transport Companies in South India. The company proudly claims to have big MNCs as its clients – Pepsico, Britannia, HUL, Saint Gobain, ITC, etc.

SCPL  is now diversifying into coffee business to tap the growing opportunity. They have formed a subsidiary company called “Paraataparaa coffee Pvt Ltd” to front-end the coffee business. Through this subsidiary, the southern cargo guys are investing Rs. 237 Crores to build a green field instant coffee powder making and packaging unit. 

Location and area of the land

The proposed plant is likely to come up on a 15 acre plot at Immavu industrial estate near Mysuru. The plant is likely to give direct jobs to 200 people and an equal number of indirect jobs are on anvil.
