The boards and panels plant is anticipated to be operational by March 2024 (against earlier expectation of June 2024).

The new facility will produce 72,000 Metric tonnes (MT) of Fiber Cement Boards and 19,000 MT of Rapicon Wall Panels. This highly automated plant is expected to create job opportunities for approximately 127 individuals.

It’s noteworthy that the initial investment plan targeted a 15-acre land in KIADB’s Immavu industrial area, Mysuru. However, the factory’s masterplan necessitated additional land, leading the company to opt for a 20-acre plot in Chamarajanagar due to land scarcity in Immavu.

Green Solutions for the construction industry

The relentless pursuit of modern living has posed a severe threat to our planet’s sustainability. Rampant exploitation of natural resources and ecological mismanagement have led to deforestation, river pollution, and overall ecological degradation. Soil erosion resulting from these activities has diminished agricultural yields, exacerbating food shortages and starvation.

However, amidst these challenges, there’s a growing awareness of the detrimental impact of human activities on nature. Several countries have initiated corrective measures to mitigate the exploitation of natural resources and promote eco-friendly alternatives. Governments worldwide are incentivizing the adoption of recyclable and eco-friendly products.

Billions of dollars have been invested in research and development to explore green alternatives, leading to the emergence of companies like Mumbai-based Everest Industries Ltd.
