NBCC (India) Limited has finished building Gate No. 2 and the Customs Examination Centre at the Noida Special Economic Zone (NSEZ). These new facilities are set to improve the efficiency and services at NSEZ, helping businesses and trade operations.
Inauguration Ceremony
The newly constructed Gate No. 2 and Customs Examination Centre were officially opened by Shri Bimal Anand, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, and Shri A Bipin Menon, Development Commissioner of NSEZ. The event took place on the NSEZ campus in Noida.

The inauguration was attended by notable figures, including Shri Surendra Malik, Joint Development Commissioner of NSEZ, and Shri Nagendra Kumar, Chief General Manager at NBCC. The presence of officers from both NSEZ and NBCC further added to the significance of the event.
About NSEZ
The Noida Special Economic Zone, established in 1985, covers a 310-acre area in Noida. It is the only Central Government-run SEZ in northern India and has played a key role in boosting exports. It was initially known as the Noida Export Processing Zone before being converted into an SEZ in 2000.
Importance of the Project
The completion of Gate No. 2 and the Customs Centre is part of a larger development plan for NSEZ. This plan includes improving roads, building more gates, installing street lighting, and creating parks. These efforts are aimed at making NSEZ a better environment for businesses.
